Meet Mrs. Camerato

It is my pleasure to welcome you to 2/3 ID, Room 13. I am looking forward to an exciting and fruitful year with your children. This year should be packed with many wonderful learning experiences and a wide variety of activities.

Project work is an important part of the ID classroom. During the year, students will have the opportunity to study topics that are of interest to them and that have been selected by them. Guidelines and expectations for project study will be sent home at the beginning of each new project investigation.

Fostering good work/study habits is an important part of your child's learning experience. Having the proper tools and keeping them organized and in good working order are important aspects of this goal. Homework is an important part of your child's education. It helps to set aside a specific time and place each night for homework to be completed. It should be in a quiet spot away from TV, noise, and distractions. It helps young children to have set routines and homework is no exception. It is never to early to lay the foundation for good work/study habits.

Parent involvement is an important part of your child's learning environment. I welcome the opportunity to discuss any concerns or problems you might have. Please don't hesitate to contact me though my school email address or you can phone me if you prefer.
