Welcome to Second Grade!

I am so happy that you will be in my class this year! I am excited to work with you and your family. We are going to learn so many new and exciting things together! It’s going to be a year full of adventures and lots of learning . I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. 

Here is a little information about me! I am new to Green Acres School, but I taught in Branford for six years. I have taught grades two and three. I went to the University of Connecticut for my bachelors, and the University of New Haven for my masters. I love to read, see new places, and to be outside. I have twins- a girl and a boy- and a black and white dog named Leo! I can’t wait to hear about your summer vacation. Have you read any good books lately? Feel free to bring one in to share the first week.

*Please bring in a healthy snack each day and a reusable water bottle. 

Parents: I am a firm believer in keeping a strong, open line of communication between home and school.
