About the Teacher

Hello,  My name is Eileen Ludington and I am entering my 25th year of teaching in North Haven.  22 of those 25 years I have been teaching kindergarten.  I have also taught transitional and grade 3. Over my tenure at Green Acres I have watched and experienced kindergarten move from a 1/2 day session program to a full day program with scope and sequences in a variety of academic disciplines (math, reading, writing, science, social studies as well as social and emotional development). 

Kindergarten is an amazing year for students to explore, grow and learn.  Students will make new friends, learn routines and rules, and discover and learn from their many experiences in K.  I look forward to working with your child over the course of this year and watching them flourish every day.

 

When I am not teaching, I am busy with my own family.  I live in Guilford with my husband, Mark and my three sons (Ty-9, and twins Cole and Nate- 8). I enjoy going to my boys sporting events and cheering them on in Football, Basketball and Lacrosse.
